Glenn Ichiro Tamura – I was born in 1943 during WWII (in a Japanese-American Concentration Camp). After the war ended we were released and my dad took us to Denver to look for work. Denver didn’t work out very well so we moved back to my grandpa’s place in Seattle, WA. Life was tough for the Japanese-American community after the war. There was a tremendous amount of prejudice. I was too young to understand what was going on, but I still remember my Chinese-American schoolmates wearing badges that read “I am Chinese not Japanese” ….
During college I majored in Business Accounting and we studied a lot of companies like IBM, Boeing, GE. Ford, etc. I was looking for ways to start a business and one of my classmates introduced me to the Manager of a company called MESBIC (Minority Enterprise Small Business Investment Corporation). MESBIC helped me write a Business Plan and eventually awarded me a (life-changing) small business Start-Up Loan. It was a small amount of money but enough to allow me to launch my entrepreneurial career. FAST FORWAD TO TODAY…..
Unfortunately, our Federal Administration is currently dysfuntional. In the worst case, this broken administration has put our country on the verge of World War III. If that doesn’t explode your brain, consider the fact they have put our economy into a tailspin that will lead to the first or second laregest depression our country has experienced.
Therefore, I am delaying the launch of this website until after the November-2026 Midterm elections. While I am confident the Democratic Party will win, I believe the Republican Party (and our President) will try to invaliudate the lost election and possibly try to create a Constitutional crises.
I have been especailly alarmed at the recent actions of ICE and the fact the Federal Administration is currently building more Concentration Camps in all regions of our country. We, (as American Citizens) CANNOT let this happen. Please take a few minutes to listen to my story..
